Our regular Commie tour starts from Vilnius' famous and grand Cathedral, just by the edge of Vilnius old town.

The tour is far from your average City Tour! It is in fact the only alternative guided tour company that shows you "The Real Vilnius" or "Vilnius off the beaten path". With our 50 year old cars, its quirky noises and strange gearshift, Vilnius and its "commie" history will be presented in an informative, fun and different way!

Join one of our tours and you will get to see the places that the average tourist does not get to see and experience. Sure we will show you the usual old town highlights easily accessible by car, but the focus will be on Soviet history and communism as well as destruction and oppression. We can accommodate several nationalities at one time. Each car will be individually fitted with a cd-player and a voice guide available in the desired language (English, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, German, Spanish, Italian).

During the course of the trip there will be several stops along the picturesque places in order to secure your vacation memories.

As guests you will receive a map with all the sights marked so you can follow the route as we go, but also venture back to the sights and explore them more in detail later.

The last stop on the route will be outside the TV tower, the site of the horrible night of 13 January 1991 where 14 Lithuanians were killed by Soviet troops trying to re-occupy Lithuania. For those wishing to spend some extra time at the TV tower and its restaurant/café on 186 meters, can leave the tour and get back to the old town at their own pace and time.

For the venturous, all passengers choosing to leave the tour at the TV tower will have the option of getting a free bus ticket and instructions on how to use the old communist style Trolleybuses that still is in use around Vilnius. The buses depart regularly 300 meters away from the TV tower and the "brave" will get a real everyday Lithuanian experience.
